SFM Model Scanner scans .mdl files and shows their bones, flex controls, hierarchy, and other structural model data. You can optionally load an Animation Groups Master (sfm_defaultanimationgroups.txt) and compare every scanned control against it, with results marked as Exact, Case mismatch, or Missing.
Scanner can also compare two models and report structural differences in bones, hierarchy, flex controls, materials, skins, and other supported model data.
Results can be exported as TXT or TSV, or as a structured SQLite database across thousands of models for use in other tools and analysis. The database includes per-model data such as bone hierarchies, control relationships, attachments, and transforms.
Scanner is read-only and does not modify models or Master files.
